The rapture theory is unscriptural, brother, which cannot be supported without injecting preconceived ideas/assumptions into the texts. To illustrate, please cite the very FIRST scripture that definitively, IN CONTEXT, teaches the uninitiated that Christians will NOT go through the terrible time Jesus describes in Matt. 24. No using - "but you have to understand," no anecdotes about Jewish weddings, no Dispensationalism dictates, JUST scripture. It's not there.
Buddy I don’t know if you’re reading these updates correctly but I do not hold to a pre-trib rapture. It seems that you are of the correct understanding that we will be going through the tribulation. This update if you read it, backs up a post-trib rapture with one verse after another. There is not one single scripture in the Bible the supports a pre-trib rapture. This is why it’s so critical to get this correct. The implications for the church and how we prepare for the next phase of this spiritual battle going forward is of the highest regard. God Bless you.
Jesus Speaking:
“(Immediately after the tribulation of those days) the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven), and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And (He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet), and (they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other).“
If your looking for the actual word “rapture” well no that word is not in the Bible, however the meaning of what it actually is, are plainly spoken. You don’t see the word “Trinity” in the Bible either which means One God represented by three persons. The Bible clearly articulates this plainly in the scriptures as well. Just believe what you’re reading from the Bible.
”For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.“
Here’s another rapture verse: there will be a rapture my friend. It’s scriptural, However it’s also scriptural that it will take place at the end of Daniel’s 70th week (final seven years)
”For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be (caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air). And thus we shall always be with the Lord.“
I Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV
The phrase to (caught up) in the original Greek is harpazo- 1. which means to seize or carry off by force. 2. To seize on to claim for one’s self. 3. To snatch out of the way.
