This past weekend, France concluded its two-week span of Parliamentary Elections. President Emmanuel Macron initiated these elections after the results of last month's European elections shifted further to the political right. Macron called for snap elections in France, hoping to consolidate other political parties to his centrist Renaissance Party to weaken France's right-wing parties. It takes 289 parliamentary seats to have a full majority of power.
Weak 1 appeared to suggest that the right-wing party of France was certain to win a majority; however, by week 2, the far-left communist socialist party had actually won the majority with 182 seats. Macron’s party came in second place with 163 seats, and the right-wing party led by Marine Le Pen came in third with 143 seats. No one won the 289 seats required to have full majority power. This situation is considered a hung Parliament. The past two weeks in France have been a real political roller coaster.
Needless to say, Emmanuel Macron’s Presidency of France has now been weakened, and his political power in France is restrained. His first decision is to appoint a Prime Minister from the largest bloc within this communist-socialist party of the NFP, who won the largest majority. This will be a cohabitation-style government in which France's President and Prime Minister come from different political parties and have split powers. This has only occurred three times in France’s history since the establishment of its current government structure, the “5th Republic.”

What we witnessed in France this past week may have fulfilled a Bible prophecy that flew right under everyone’s radar.
